SimVentions is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support development and integration of software aboard Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs). An Interim Secret Clearance is required, with US Citizenship needed for clearance eligibility.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable architectures and collaboration with the H62 Lead to meet complex operational requirements. Required: 8+ years in software development, experience in Java, Rust, C++, Python, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD; familiarity with Agile,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or technical field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java, Rust, C++, Python.
• Experience with Linux, Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience leading teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure, scalable software architectures for USV systems.
• Collaborate with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to translate requirements into specs.
• Prioritize development tasks and establish technical baselines.
• Work with vendors on platforms, payloads and sensors for hardware integration.
