Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support development and integration of Government-owned and contractor-developed software aboard Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs).

The role requires an Interim Secret Clearance and hands-on experience with Java, Rust, C++, Python, Docker, CI/CD, and Linux. You will partner with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to deliver secure, scalable software and integrate various payloads and sensors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing project workflows and driving team collaboration using VS Code, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, and IDEs.
• Proficiency in Java and Rust; also strong skills in C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipeline development; Linux environments (Ubuntu/RedHat).
• Experience with agile software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure, scalable software architectures and integrate vendor platforms, payloads, and sensors for hardware integration.
• Collaborate with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to manage agile cycles and translate operational requirements into technical specs.
• Establish technical baselines and prioritize high-impact development tasks.
