Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the technical direction of Verse's client-facing products and internal platforms. You will design API-first, cloud-native services, own end-to-end projects, and contribute to our conversational AI platform while ensuring performance, reliability, and security across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience on large scale and high-volume enterprise products.
• Strong understanding of developing in C#.
• Experience architecting systems for performance and scalability.
• Expertise in designing applications using relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Working Knowledge of ci/cd.
• Experience developing RESTful web services.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of design patterns and Agile processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the end-to-end technical direction for the team, including platform, technology, tools, and infrastructure.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape product strategy and execution.
• Design and build API-first, cloud-native services that integrate with clients, internal tools, and partners.
• Own projects end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, iteration.
• Develop and maintain scalable, distributed systems with focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to evolution of AI platform, including pipelines and data flows.
• Write clean, well-documented code and raise engineering standards through reviews.
• Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across layers.
• Drive technical decisions and coordinate multiple project executions.
• Foster teamwork and maintain professionalism.
