Job summary

NiCE seeks a Senior Software Architect in Utah to guide the design of client-facing products and internal platforms powering premium experiences. You will shape technical direction, spearhead API-first, cloud-native services, and contribute to our conversational AI platform.

You will own projects end-to-end, ensure scalability and security, collaborate with product and design, and raise engineering standards through code reviews and CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 15+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in large-scale enterprise products.
• Strong C# development experience.
• Experience designing API-first, cloud-native systems.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD and dev-ops practices.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set end-to-end technical direction for the team and platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to plan architecture.
• Design API-first, cloud-native services for web and partners.
• Own projects from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop scalable, reliable, secure distributed systems.
• Contribute to conversational AI platform and data flows.
• Lead code quality via reviews and engineering standards.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and operational excellence.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across layers.
• Drive architectural decisions and cross-team coordination.
• Foster teamwork and professional representation of the dept.
