Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking an Advisor, Software Developer -- IIB to lead, design, code, test, and deploy software in a team environment. You will document the SDLC, develop prototypes, and implement new business capabilities using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, Java, EDI, Oracle database, and REST/SOAP services.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with responsibilities including mentoring less senior developers and providing on-call support to ensure operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in software development and integration.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid understanding of Java, JSP, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and support Sterling WMS components and data flow.
• Analyze WMS issues across inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows.
• Encode, test, debug, and document complex software programs.
• Review and modify core software; provide troubleshooting and support.
• Follow SDLC standards and mentor junior developers.
• Design and support applications using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, and REST/SOAP services.
• Prepare prototypes, specifications, and proof-of-concept artifacts.
• Communicate requirements to end-users and stakeholders; develop test plans.
