FedEx Supply Chain is seeking an Advisor, Software Developer -- IIB to lead and execute software projects in a team setting. The role emphasizes applying system thinking to enable design, code, test, and deployment across technologies, with documentation to support the SDLC and mentoring for junior developers.

Responsibilities include integrating WMS components, diagnosing complex issues, and delivering robust solutions using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, Java, and APIs.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in software development and integration.
• Strong Java/JSP/XML/HTML/JavaScript technical foundation with databases.
• Ability to read, analyze, and document complex systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and support Sterling WMS components and data flows.
• Analyze WMS issues across inbound/outbound/inventory workflows and perform root-cause analysis.
• Encode, test, debug, and document complex software.
• Respond to escalated inquiries and provide technical/operational support.
• Design, develop, test, and support applications using MQ, IBM Integration Bus, ESQL, Java, and web services.
