Job summary

The State of North Carolina - Health & Human Services seeks a Human Services Program Consultant III (NS) to lead continuous quality improvement for Region 3, focusing on Work First program operations and NC FAST navigation. You will train counties, analyze performance data, and coordinate CQI plans with regional teams.

Travel to counties for on-site support is required, including possible multi-day trips for D-SNAP operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree + 4 years related experience or
• Bachelor's degree + 6 years related experience or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, technical assistance, and program guidance to county DSS across Region 3, on-site and virtually.
• Lead CQI planning, coordinate across Region 3, and guide counties toward improved outcomes.
• Review data and performance measures to identify trends and drive program improvements.
• Ensure staff guidance on NC FAST usage and Work First policy consistency across counties.
• Travel for regional CQI meetings and on-site county support, including D-SNAP-related work.
