The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a Social Work Supervisor to oversee case monitors, assist in treatment planning, and coordinate with providers and families under the AOT program in NYC.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work, NYS CSW/LMSW licensure within 18 months, supervisory experience, and strong organizational and communication skills; some remote days may be available depending on position.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work and two years of full-time social work experience; at least one year in a supervisory role.
• CSW or LMSW certification/license must be obtained within one year of appointment.
• Must meet NYS licensure requirements; probation may be extended if licensure is delayed.

Responsabilités

• Supervise case monitors in performance and decision making.
• Assist in preparing treatment plans and court order documents.
• Collaborate with mental health providers and families to monitor engagement with treatment.
• Assess the quality and appropriateness of community care planning.
• Participate in case conferences to discuss eligibility and progress under the court order.
• Manage events and support Care Coordinators and mobile treatment teams.
• Participate in QA reviews and special projects.
• Fulfill case monitor and investigation responsibilities when necessary.
• Oversee administrative duties including staff timekeeping and hiring processes.
