The Clinical Supervisor (LMSW) provides clinical oversight, supervision, and guidance to direct care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and trauma-informed services. This role supports staff professional development, ensures compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards, and promotes best practices in clinical service delivery. The Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining program integrity and improving client outcomes.
Provide clinical supervision to social workers, counselors, case managers, and other direct care staff in accordance with regulatory and agency standards
Review and approve psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Ensure services are delivered using trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices
Monitor staff compliance with documentation, productivity, and quality assurance requirements
Conduct individual and group supervision sessions and support staff professional growth
Provide clinical guidance for complex cases, crisis situations, and risk management concerns
Collaborate with program leadership to improve service delivery and client outcomes
Participate in case conferences, utilization reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Support onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
Ensure compliance with OMH, OASAS, DOH, Medicaid, and other applicable regulatory standards
Maintain awareness of ethical standards and ensure adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
Current New York State LMSW license required
