Qualifications

• Valid license as an LCSW issued by the NYSED and one (1) year of supervisory experience utilizing casework, group work and/or community organization methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Screens charts for historical and clinical information, conducts psychosocial evaluations through interviews with patients and/or identified surrogates and formulates appropriate social work treatment plans.
• Provides individual and group counseling, and concrete social services, in health care settings and community venues as required.
• Mentors and assists less experienced staff; may supervise students or volunteers and provide clinical supervision as a LMSW under supervision.
