Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking a bold Social Media & Channels strategist to own how the brand appears across social media and bring it to life in engaging ways. You will shape voice, content strategy, and channel experiences that reach millions of impressions.

You'll collaborate across Marketing, Corporate Communications, Product, HR, Retail, and Leadership to bring stories to market, from campaigns to employer branding and community initiatives. Elevate our presence with relevance and creativity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in social media, brand, content, or digital marketing for a consumer-facing brand.

Responsibilities

Own Valley's social strategy and roadmap, aligning to brand, marketing, reputation, and business priorities.
Translate priorities into annual and quarterly plans.
Use listening and data to shape strategy and keep Valley relevant.
Lead content strategy, calendar, and platform approach across channels.
Turn priorities into platform-native content that is clear and engaging.
Guide creative development to reflect Valley's voice and regulatory expectations.
Partner across Marketing, Communications, Product, HR, Retail, and Leadership.
Influence enterprise priorities across social for timely, audience-first messages.
Build associate advocacy programs for employees to share Valley stories.
Set governance, publishing workflows, and escalation paths for speed and responsibility.
