Job summary

Commerce is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to own organic social across our family of brands. You will set strategy, build calendars, create content, publish, and be accountable for performance.

You will partner with Creative, PR, Demand Gen, Content, and Product Marketing to shape the program. You are a strategist who can translate quarterly plans into live posts and can adapt quickly to live moments with hands-on video and design skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in social media strategy and content creation, in-house or agency.
• Own a program and calendar, not just execute a queue.
• Excellent writer with adaptable brand and executive voice.
• Hands-on with short-form video and design tooling (CapCut, Canva, Premiere, DaVinci).
• Based in Austin, able to be in the office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: own a documented organic social strategy per brand and a four-week content calendar.
• Content creation and publishing: write captions, scripts, and posts; produce assets and format for each platform.
• Speed on moments: prepare in advance for live events and react quickly to milestones.
• Executive and employee social: manage senior leaders' content and run the employee advocacy program.
• Measurement and brand safety: define KPIs, report results, ensure voice and policy alignment.
