Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a SOC Engineer to join the Cyber team in the Security Operations Center. You will troubleshoot security events, monitor posture, and respond to incidents with threat containment in mind.

The role requires experience in infosec, network operations, and cloud security. Strong problem solving, analytics, and communication skills are essential as you will contribute to playbooks and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in info security, cybersecurity, systems or networking.
• Experience with network protocols/configurations and IT operations.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) preferred.
• Experience with EDR/SIEM platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security event platforms and follow incident playbooks.
• Conduct network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis.
• Provide feedback to improve monitoring rules.
• Create regular reports for Security Management Team.
• Participate in on-call rotation and update runbooks.
