Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc. seeks a Senior SOC Analyst to aggressively monitor and respond to SIEM alerts and customer requests. The role emphasizes incident investigation, log analysis, and rapid action to safeguard U.S.

Courts systems, with six months duration and a 4 days onsite/1 day remote schedule. Required are 6+ years in a SOC environment, strong experience with Splunk, Snort, PCAP, and Wireshark, and citizenship in the United States.

Qualifications

• PRIOR or ONGOING SOC experience required.
• BS degree preferred; industry certifications encouraged (Security+/CySA+/CEH/CISSP/GCIH).
• SPLUNK SIEM queries hands-on experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts in the SIEM and assist customers.
• Investigate incidents and take action to safeguard systems.
• Read and interpret logs and network data to create a narrative of observed behavior.
