Job summary

Peraton is seeking a cybersecurity professional to monitor and investigate security alerts, coordinate with internal and external teams on incident response, and analyze network traffic and logs. The role requires a U.S.

Secret clearance and hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in SOC/cybersecurity, knowledge of TCP/IP and cybersecurity frameworks, and a strong focus on threat detection and incident containment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination; active U.S. Secret clearance required.
• 3+ years of SOC/cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, cybersecurity frameworks, and common threat vectors.
