Job summary

Voxidea seeks an experienced SOC Analyst to monitor, triage, investigate, and respond to security events across endpoints, identity, cloud, and networks. You will work with our MSSP and internal IT to validate alerts, coordinate containment, and drive remediation in a mature security environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with SentinelOne, Defender, Microsoft 365, SIEM, and Cisco technologies. You will own tickets end-to-end and improve detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a SOC/Security Operations or related role.
• Experience in medium-to-large enterprise or MSSP environments.
• Hands-on with Cisco security and networking tech.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, identity, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to security alerts from MSSPs and security tooling.
• Coordinate with MSSP to validate alerts, escalate, review evidence, and respond.
• Hands-on investigation using SentinelOne, Defender, Microsoft 365, SIEM, and Cisco tech.
• Assess detections for false positives, scope, and containment needs.
• Own security tickets end-to-end: categorization to closure.
• Coordinate containment actions with IT (endpoint isolation, access changes).
• Investigate suspicious authentication, mailbox, endpoint, network, and cloud activity.
• Correlate data across platforms to build incident timelines and root cause.
• Monitor trends to reduce recurring alert noise.
• Recommend and implement security control and policy improvements.
• Tune rules, policies, and access controls; maintain SOC playbooks.
• Support incident response, evidence collection, and preservation.
• Produce weekly/monthly security reporting for IT Director.
