Job summary

Fanan Limited is seeking a proactive SOC Analyst for a fully remote position. You will investigate security alerts escalated by MSSPs, own incidents end-to-end, and strengthen controls across Microsoft 365 and endpoints using Defender, Sentinel, or SentinelOne.

The role requires 2–4 years in security operations and incident response, with English communication for a US-based team and ET working hours. Join an established firm delivering high-quality cybersecurity services.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on with at least one: Defender, Sentinel, or SentinelOne.
• Knowledge of EDR technologies and incident response.
• Experience investigating alerts, malicious activity, and incident handling.
• Ability to manage security tickets end-to-end.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security configurations.
• Experience implementing remediation actions and validating resolutions.
• Strong monitoring, threat detection, and response workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate security alerts escalated by MSSP.
• Serve as primary internal contact for security incidents.
• Own security tickets from detection to resolution and documentation.
• Investigate suspicious activities and perform remediation.
• Strengthen security controls in Microsoft 365 environments.
• Use EDR solutions to identify and contain threats.
• Work with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and related tools.
• Coordinate with external providers and internal stakeholders.
