Job summary

Mathematica seeks a Principal for Advisory Services (SNAP Policy), remote eligible. You will lead complex advisory engagements, advise federal and state clients, and grow Mathematica’s SNAP and related human services portfolio.

Senior leadership with deep SNAP policy and E&T expertise required. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, shape policy solutions, mentor staff, and drive business development through strategic relationships and proposals.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in public policy, economics, public administration, nutrition, or related field.
• 15+ years in food and nutrition policy with leadership in advisory and TA.
• 7+ years in business development with federal/state proposals.
• Strong relationships across SNAP and human services sectors.
• Deep expertise in SNAP and SNAP E&T operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory and technical assistance engagements on SNAP policy and operations.
• Advise federal and state agencies, translate research into guidance.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee deliverables, schedules, budgets.
• Develop staff and contribute to organizational expertise.
• Lead business development, proposals, and client relationships.
