Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking Advisory Services Analysts with SNAP and SNAP E&T experience to support federal, state, and other clients. The role focuses on policy analysis, program operations, technical assistance, and data-driven improvements.

Analysts work on multidisciplinary teams, deliver practical recommendations, and develop high-quality client deliverables. Some travel up to 10 percent may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public policy, public administration, economics, nutrition, behavioral or social sciences, statistics, public health, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience with SNAP and SNAP E&T policy, program administration, operations, or improvement.
• Excellent oral and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with policy analysis, research, and program implementation or operations.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams and own assigned tasks.
• Analyze SNAP and SNAP E&T policies and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information.
• Support technical assistance with federal, state, and local agencies and partners.
• Draft clear client deliverables including memos, briefs, reports, and presentations.
• Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and lead defined tasks with guidance.
