Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking an exceptionally skilled SME & Principal Lead Developer to drive hands-on design, prototyping, and integration of core missile subsystems. You will lead across mechanical hardware, real-time embedded software, GNC algorithms, and CAS, translating requirements into production flight code and testbeds.

You will report to the Program Chief Engineer and oversee validation at flight test ranges.

Qualifications

B.S./M.S./Ph.D. with extensive aerospace/engineering experience
Hands-on lead developer on at least one guided weapon/program
Expertise in missile mechanical structures, EMA/CAS integration
Strong GNC theory, 6-DOF modeling, trajectory design
Proficient in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink; auto code gen
Experience with RTOS (VxWorks, Linux PREEMPT_RT, Green Hills INTEGRITY)
Experience with MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet/UDP, PCIe, CAN, SPI, RS-422
Active US DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on developer across mechanical, embedded software, GNC, and CAS subsystems.
Draft specifications, ICDs, and qualification plans for Chief Engineer review.
Design, build, and integrate HWIL/PIL testbeds for flight software with actuators.
Translate requirements into production-ready flight code for onboard processors.
Coordinate with Chief Engineer and IPT Leads during design reviews.
