Radiance Technologies in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Chief Engineer to own the technical integrity, airworthiness, safety, and performance of a complete missile weapon system—airframe, propulsion, guidance, ordnance, avionics, software, and ground support equipment.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, balance system-level trades against cost and risk, and chair critical reviews from SRR to TRR, mentoring engineers across the lifecycle of the program.

Formación

• Education: B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering; M.S./Ph.D. strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in missile, interceptor, or precision-guided munition programs.
• 10+ years in chief engineering, deputy chief engineering, lead systems engineering, or IPT lead roles overseeing multi-disciplinary programs.
• System-level mastery: demonstrated full lifecycle experience from concept to production.
• Active US DoD Secret security clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Hold final technical authority for the missile system design, architecture, performance, safety, and flight readiness.
• Lead system-level reviews (SRS, ICDs) and top-level TRBs/FRBs to maintain configuration control.
• Direct cross-domain technical oversight across mechanical, propulsion, avionics, GNC, and software domains.
• Chair FRR and mentor engineers through SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR milestones.
