Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Sleep Center Technician for the Mount Pleasant sleep lab. The role is full-time, 3 nights per week (7pm–7am) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Must have RPSGT or RST certification and at least 2 years in polysomnography.

Qualifications

• RPSGT or RST certification required.
• 2 years of polysomnographic technician experience typical.

Responsibilities

• Selects and applies monitoring electrodes and probes.
• Prepares PAP mask fittings.
• Schedules tests and educates patients about the process.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and generates reports.
• Administers CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen as needed.
• Sets up and scores home sleep tests.
