Job summary

Amazon.com is seeking a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with site operations, implement WHS policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across the Indianapolis area. You will lead risk assessments, safety data analysis, and training of leadership to drive continuous improvement in ergonomic and safety practices.

The role requires building and mentoring a team of safety professionals, directing Kaizen initiatives, and aligning site safety with global standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations, or relevant experience.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies.
• Measure site performance against published safety requirements and implement corrective plans.
• Ensure safety record keeping, data integrity, and accurate reporting of safety metrics.
