YMCA of the East Bay is seeking an energetic Program Director (Senior Site Supervisor) to lead licensed school-age programs and support Site Directors as they facilitate education, recreation, STEM activities and healthy snacks.

The role emphasizes safety, licensing compliance, data reporting, and collaboration across departments, with travel to sites as needed. A degree in a related field and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or related field.
• Two years of supervisory/administrative experience.
• Ability to work in a matrixed, team environment to achieve results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of diverse populations and inclusive practices.
• Experience developing relationships with community partners.
• Criminal record clearance and health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and delivering high-quality programming that meets goals.
• Assist in supervising program sites and staffing according to ratios.
• Assist in data collection to ensure outcome reports meet requirements.
• Collaborate with leaders to share resources and best practices.
• Stay current on education developments by attending conferences/workshops.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
