Qualifications

• AA Degree required; BA/BS degree preferred.
• Three years related experience in school-based learning or expanded learning.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups and support children of all abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily site operations, administration, and documentation.
• Ensure California Department of Education requirements are met.
• Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality programming supporting academic achievement.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and development of staff and volunteers.
• Coach and train staff and monitor performance with a development plan.
• Build relationships with families, school administration, teachers, district personnel and partners.
• Maintain attendance, enrollment, data, reports and documentation.
• Communicate program standards to staff and respond to concerns.
• Provide a healthy environment and efficient use of site resources.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings; participate in events and planning.
• Follow mandated reporting procedures for suspected child abuse.
