Job summary

Harkins Builders, Inc. seeks a capable project site supervisor to lead engineers, assistant superintendents, trainees, and direct labor. You will drive production, safety, quality, and timely, profitable completion through subcontractors and vendors.

Under the Lead superintendent, you will process shop drawings and maintain critical project documentation, ensuring safety and quality standards across the site. This role emphasizes leadership, coordination, and hands-on project oversight.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive experience in construction.
• Ability to lead, coach, and train team members while fostering growth.
• Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, budgeting, negotiation, field supervision, and financial reporting.
• Organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, quality, safety, and profitable completion through subordinates, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review subcontractor requisitions and invoices per lead superintendent guidelines.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate project engineers, assistant superintendents, trainees, and direct labor.
• Coordinate shop drawings, samples, and specification sheets under lead superintendent.
• Enforce safety program and maintain staffing with proper supervision on site.
• Contribute to quality control planning and preconstruction meetings with subcontractors.
• Update project schedules monthly and monitor milestones and completion targets.
• Prepare and manage site logs, RFI logs, and other project documentation.
• Chair weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and circulate minutes.
