Job summary

The Senior Superintendent at STO Building Group leads field coordination and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces on construction projects, ensuring timely progress and cost control. You will review status with the Project Manager, enforce safety standards, and oversee field operations on large commercial and pharma projects.

Responsibilities include preparing schedules and reports, guiding subcontractors, coordinating manpower and resources, and ensuring adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Experience in supervisory roles as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well developed communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports describing project status.
• Oversees timely and cost effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives; large projects may have multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by workers when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs subcontractor activities within pharma projects.
• Analyzes manpower, material, equipment needs and coordinates them with supervising superintendent.
