Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II to lead sanitation operations in a food processing facility in Missouri. You will supervise the sanitation crew, manage budgets, ensure safety and quality, and protect consumer safety.

Responsibilities include developing operational strategies, monitoring expenditures, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement while upholding Fortrex's safety and training commitments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing and basic math.
• Ability to operate and navigate computer systems and ERP basics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
• Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets.
• Lead sanitation crew, supervise daily operations and safety.
• Coordinate with Area Manager and Corporate office on logs, payroll and orders.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and ensure a safe work environment.
• Support training, coaching, and performance management of staff.
