Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Safety Manager for its Austin, Texas Division to lead the site safety program on the assigned project. You will educate project staff on federal, state, and local laws, ensure compliance with safety manuals, and develop training and reporting to reduce incidents.

Requirements include OSHA 510, OSHA 500 Trainer, a Bachelor's in Occupational Safety and Health or BCSP certification, plus five years of GC experience. The role is on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 certification (less than five years old) or equivalent.
• Authorized OSHA 500 Trainer.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or BCSP certification with GC experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manages the site safety program on assigned project.
• Educates and trains project staff in federal, state, and local laws.
• Creates safety reports and accident investigation documents.
• Represents the company with owner and subcontractors and leads safety training.
