Southland Industries is seeking a Site Safety Manager to assist the Division Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across field and facilities, with a focus on the Dulles, VA market. You will lead safety inspections, document findings, and drive corrective actions to prevent incidents.

The role requires strong OSHA knowledge, training experience, and the ability to coordinate safety programs, incident investigations, and disciplinary actions under management guidance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences or related discipline preferred.
• 7-10 years' experience in related field, including employee training experience.
• Experience in safety management in the semiconductor industry strongly preferred.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid preferred.
• OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, OSHA 40hr training preferred.
• OSHA 500, CHST or ASP certifications preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of health and safety management systems; OSHA CFR 1926 standards or the state construction safety regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Tours and inspects job sites to ensure OSHA compliance and company safety policies.
• Document safety inspections and recommend corrective procedures with timely follow-up.
• Maintain site safety documents and training logs; track injury trends and loss control strategies.
• Provide emergency response and participate in accident investigations; report to regulatory agencies as required.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee safety training and update training materials.
• Direct the workflow of less-experienced safety employees.
• Exercise independent judgement on disciplinary actions for safety violations in consultation with manager.
