Qualifications

• 10+ years in Site Safety and Health Officer or equivalent role.
• 5+ years construction experience on USACE projects.
• Experience with EM385-1-1 is required.
• Current OSHA 30-hour certificate within the last 5 years.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety and health inspections and maintain a written log with findings and corrective actions.
• Investigate mishaps, report near misses, and maintain OSHA Form 300/300A.
• Prepare site-specific APPs and AHAs, ensuring EM 385-1-1 compliance.
• Maintain safety training records and personnel orientation for contractors.
• Ensure subcontractor safety compliance and manage safety reference materials.
