Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote‑first team in the US. You’ll help unlock observability data value, scale cloud platforms, and drive reliability across the software lifecycle.

You will work with a team of engineers to design, deploy, test, and ship Cribl products, ensuring high availability, low latency, and robust incident response. This role emphasizes autonomy and collaboration in a distributed setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as a Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration technologies.
• Experience with APM and Observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Sentry).
• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale continuous delivery environments.
• Development with JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript in Linux/Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams and improve service delivery and reliability across the lifecycle.
• Measure and monitor production systems for availability and latency.
• Identify and drive down toil with automation and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve reliability and observability.
• Support on-call duties and incident response in a distributed environment.
