Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our mission of unlocking observability data value as we expand in the U.S. This remote role within the U.S. will contribute to envisioning, creating, deploying, testing, and shipping Cribl products.

You’ll work with a team of engineers committed to high-quality software and operational excellence. You will engage with engineering teams to enhance reliability, implement best practices, and automate toil away.

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and operate observability systems for complex cloud platforms.
• Experience with configuration management and IaC tools like Terraform (preferred) or Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration technologies.
• Experience with APM and observability tools like New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Sentry.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale continuous delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams and improve service delivery and reliability across their lifecycle.
• Measure and monitor production systems for availability and latency.
• Identify causes of errors and drive teams toward better operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve reliability and observability.
• Identify and reduce toil with automation.
• This role requires stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
