Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to advance reliability, observability, and developer autonomy as our platform scales. You will partner with product and platform teams to improve stability, establish ownership, and build shared tooling that enables teams to operate services confidently.

You will mentor developers on reliability practices, drive incident response improvements, and help define service health metrics and observability standards across the Platform Division.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of observability in distributed systems.
• Experience with SRE concepts: SLOs, error budgets, incident management.
• 3–5+ years in software development, SRE, DevOps, or production roles.
• Knowledge of IaC tools and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assess service maturity and provide insights to development teams.
• Partner with development teams to implement observability best practices.
• Enable development teams to deploy, support, and manage infrastructure autonomously.
• Mentor developers on reliability practices and self-sufficiency.
• Drive tooling adoption across Platform Division teams.
