Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a skilled Quality Control professional to lead site QC programs across projects in a demanding construction environment. You will supervise site QC staff, coordinate with engineers and suppliers, and ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.

This role centers on building robust QC processes and safeguarding safety and quality on complex sites. Ideal candidates bring a strong background in field QC, welder qualifications, PWHT/NDE oversight, and the

Qualifications

7+ years as Superintendent with degree, or 10+ years without.
Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR).
Certification in AWS/CWI or ISM or equivalent is preferred

Responsibilities

Establishes, implements and maintains site quality program.
Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory reps and field to ensure work is done correctly.
Assures on-site work meets applicable codes and specs.
Develops and administers site-specific Quality Programs.
Surveillance/Audits of site Contractor Quality Control Programs.
Responsible for welder qualification on-site testing.
Oversees PWHT and NDE contacts and testing documentation.
Establishes inspection plans and tracks inspections/actions.
Reviews turnover packages prior to handover to Startup.
Interfaces with clients and government officials.
