Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Site Quality Control Manager for a Tennessee power plant project. You will lead site QC teams, implement project quality plans, and ensure field work complies with codes and client requirements.

You will oversee QC staff, coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and regulators, drive audits, welding and NDE activities, and mentor junior quality professionals while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction QC management experience with degree, or 10+ years without.
• Certification in discipline (AWS, CWI, ISM) or relevant equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in power plant environments and site QA programs.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements and maintains site quality program.
• Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and regulatory representatives to ensure proper workmanship.
• Assures on-site work meets applicable codes and specifications.
• Develops and administers site-specific Quality Programs.
• Surveillance and audits of site Contractor Quality Control Programs.
• Responsible for welder qualification on-site testing.
• Issue, control and coordinate Post Weld Heat Treatment and NDE contacts.
• Establishes inspection plan and tracks inspections/actions identified.
