Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Site Manager to plan and manage projects under the direction of a Program Manager in San Diego. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, and resources to maximize earnings and efficiency while ensuring compliance with contractual and union requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with extensive management experience, strong communication and analytical abilities, and readiness to travel as needed to support customers' missions.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain CBP suitability clearance; US citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 8+ years with Bachelor's / 5+ with Master's.
• Strong communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to prepare reports/presentations.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to all site personnel.
• Prepare and submit site budgets; forecast costs and control subcontractors.
• Control service contracts in support of site operations.
• Manage all department managers and staff at the site.
• Coordinate range scheduling with departments to staff training.
• Oversee scheduling of work and workloads per tasking.
• Interface with union representatives to ensure adherence to agreements.
• Travel as required to support customers' mission.
