Job summary

Jabil is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead site operations, driving excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. The role oversees Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, Test, Engineering and Facilities, shaping operational strategy and building high-performing teams to meet evolving customer demands in a complex, high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of manufacturing or operations experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing managers and multiple functions.
• Hands-on leader who drives culture and change in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Ability to influence customers, executives, and peers at all levels and build a safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations Manager and functional managers with accountability for site performance 24/7.
• Design and adjust site organization to support growth and stability.
• Hire, develop, and retain senior leaders; partner with Talent Acquisition on criteria.
• Coach leaders on decision-making, performance management, and accountability.
• Align manufacturing and functions on shared priorities and resolve conflicts.
• Own succession planning and bench strength for critical leadership roles.
• Track turnover and organizational health; implement retention plans.
• Drive site goals cascading to the organization; manage KPIs and dashboards.
• Provide timely feedback based on data and floor observations.
• Lead site through ramps, escalations, and disruptions with focus and discipline.
• Turn corporate strategy into executable site plans and align capacity with demand.
• Oversee cost drivers and drive cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies and audits; promote continuous improvement and best practices.
