Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support a high-volume electronics manufacturing operation. You will lead quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements while strengthening the site's quality culture.

The role requires collaborating with customers, operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver world-class products and maintain the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive quality engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience leading customer audits and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action capabilities (CAPA).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering activities supporting NPI, production, and customer programs.
• Serve as the primary quality interface for customers; support audits, reviews, escalations, and issue resolution.
• Drive the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the site's QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints, internal nonconformances, and manufacturing defects using structured root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement effective CAPAs to improve quality and reduce risk.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and program management to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Facilitate PFMEAs, control plans, process validations, and other quality planning activities.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive leadership communication.
• Support audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Mentor and guide quality engineers and cross-functional teams on tools and best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
