Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support field-based projects nationwide. The role involves traveling to project sites and acting as the on-site lead in the absence of the Site Manager.

You will help develop scopes, schedule work, and coordinate subcontractors while maintaining safety and quality. Candidates should have 3+ years in construction and the ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent or 5 years of progressive construction experience.
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sectors is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as overall Site Manager during off rotation for the Site Manager.
• Assist in developing scopes of work and project schedules.
• Coordinate procurement, labor, and subcontractor activities to meet timelines.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on site and enforce Gray’s safety program.
