Job summary

Prime Response, Inc. seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring projects meet schedule, approved specifications, safety standards and budget. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors and serve as the key link between the site team and the Project Manager.

This role requires planning, supervising foremen, enforcing safety, ensuring quality and delivering accurate progress reports to keep projects on track across active sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction or Construction Management.
• At least 5 years' experience in building or civil works, including 2 years supervising foremen.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with commercial, industrial or agricultural projects is an advantage.
• Recognized health and safety training such as NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly and short-term work plans, monitor progress and address delays.
• Supervise foremen, trade teams and subcontractors, ensuring resources and completion to target.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental requirements, including PPE, inductions, toolbox talks and safe-work permits.
• Monitor construction quality against drawings and specifications; coordinate inspections and resolve defects.
• Plan labour, materials and equipment; check deliveries and minimise waste and downtime.
• Maintain site diaries, attendance records and progress reports; communicate site issues promptly.
• Lead and support site teams, maintain discipline and escalate significant issues to the Project Manager.
