Job summary

The City of Reno's Parks and Recreation Department seeks Sierra Kids Senior Site Leader to oversee before- and after-school and camp programs for elementary students. You will supervise staff, coordinate activities, manage registrations, and ensure safe, engaging experiences.

A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. This role offers opportunities to mentor youth and support families while contributing to a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of paid experience in recreation or similar programs.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead before- and after-school and camp programs for elementary school children.
• Supervise staff and oversee daily program operations.
• Coordinate activities and events, manage registrations and reservations software.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of facilities and equipment.
• Prepare program documents and reports using Microsoft Office.
• Assist with purchasing supplies and processing invoices.
• Provide high level of customer service via phone, in person, and email.
• Support development and enforcement of City policies.
• Perform related duties as required.
