Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Contracts Manager to develop, negotiate, and manage US site budgets and clinical trial agreements for sponsor-dedicated studies.

You will collaborate with internal teams and major academic institutions to craft robust contracts while minimizing risk. This role requires a strong communicator, leader, and negotiator with experience across multiple therapeutic areas; oncology experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building budgets and contracts from templates.
• Direct experience negotiating with large academic institutions.
• Ability to juggle priorities, lead projects, and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of clinical study protocols, timelines, and site milestones (e.g., SIV).

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Template Development: Build US site budget templates and study-specific budget language.
• Contract Negotiation & Risk Management: Lead direct negotiations with large academic institutions; draft and finalize CTAs balancing objectives and protections; conduct due diligence checks (FMV, site justification).
• Project Leadership & Delivery: Prioritize and lead multiple contracting projects across several therapeutic areas (oncology preferred).
• Tools, Systems & Communication: Proficiency in Excel and CTMS; maintain trackers and communicate updates.
• Compliance, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Deepen knowledge of GCP and sponsor processes; support team Training and process improvements.
