Job summary

Amazon Lab126 in the United States is seeking a Senior Site Technical Manager to oversee development, qualification, and validation of assembly, test, and pack-out processes in a highly automated factory.

You will own resolution of technical issues across multiple products, drive cost, process, and yield improvements, and oversee the Contract Manufacturer’s continuous improvement program, collaborating with design and automation engineers to scale operations.

Qualifications

• Own resolution of technical issues for multiple products in a fast-paced, automation-focused factory.
• Drive cost, process, and yield improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Identify and design required assembly and test fixtures for new and existing products.
• Oversee the Contract Manufacturer’s preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the factory floor and its processes, on-site with suppliers and operators, to monitor packout lines.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvements and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Collaborate with design and automation engineers to scale manufacturing and introduce new programs.
