Amazon Lab126 seeks a Senior Site Technical Manager to lead assembly, test, and pack-out processes in a highly automated factory. You will troubleshoot, drive cost and yield improvements, and apply lean methods on multiple products with a contracted manufacturer.

You will work on DFx, SAT, SOPs, and operator training; manage CM CI programs; interface with design and automation engineers to ensure on-time delivery from the site in Flower Mound, TX (USA).

Formación

• Experience in project management of technical projects.
• BS in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• On-site technical lead for high-volume manufacturing and complex packout.
• Experience with cycle time waterfall, line balancing, SOP generation, and personnel training.
• Experience with DFx (Manufacturing, Cost, Test) and FAT/SAT; basic GD&T.
• Lean/Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality concepts/tools: 8D, DOE, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, fishbone, 5 Whys.
• Data analysis with Minitab; yield reporting (Pareto, Cp/Cpk, GR&R).
• Experience with precision measurement devices.
• Manufacturing knowledge in Supplier/ Product Quality or Reliability.
• Ability to solve complex issues creatively and quickly.
• 10+ years in operations with OEM/CM suppliers; 5+ years as STM.

Responsabilidades

• Own resolution of technical issues for multiple products in an automation-focused factory.
• Troubleshoot with colleagues and suppliers to resolve automation, material, process, and procedure issues.
• Drive continuous improvements to manufacturing and automation processes; oversee CM CI program.
• Identify and design required assembly and test fixtures for new and existing products.
• Work on product DFx, create SOPs, and oversee CM operator training for production readiness.
• Identify and drive quality improvement and cost-reduction goals; oversee CM incoming quality control.
• Oversee the Contract Manufacturer’s preventive maintenance to ensure equipment availability.
