Job summary

Meta's Infrastructure Silicon team is building custom ASICs to power the compute demands of AI, data center, and next-generation workloads. We are seeking an experienced Silicon Validation Engineer to validate silicon end-to-end from pre-silicon design input through post-silicon bring-up and deployment in production fleets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC development cycles with pre-silicon and/or post-silicon validation.
• Experience troubleshooting, debug, and analytics for silicon products using waveform viewers, logic analyzers, and hardware debug probes.
• Experience with ASIC design or development, emulation, and post-silicon validation.
• Experience developing automation scripts and test infrastructure in Python, C/C++.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external partners across RTL design, verification, firmware, software, and systems teams in a custom silicon environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable and performant silicon from architecture input to post-silicon deployment.
• Define and execute validation strategies, test plans, coverage, regression criteria.
• Develop and maintain emulation infrastructure, including FPGA-based bring-up.
• Map RTL designs onto emulation platforms optimizing timing and debug visibility.
• Build automation for validation workflows across bare-metal and full-stack systems.
• Debug hardware, firmware, and software interactions across RTL, firmware, and software layers.
• Root-cause and remediate silicon issues across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with RTL design and verification to resolve functional bugs before tape-out.
• Ensure continuity between pre- and post-silicon environments for accurate modeling.
• Understand production use cases to feed insights into next-gen architecture.
• Evaluate and integrate new validation tools and platform capabilities.
• Lead end-to-end validation efforts, providing guidance on methodology and tooling.
