Job summary

Meta's Infra Silicon team seeks an ASIC Validation Engineer to drive pre- and post-silicon validation across emulation platforms and the lab. You will bring up boards and systems, set up test environments, and validate feature sets with rigorous data collection and analysis.

You will write Python automation, interpret domain measurements, and collaborate with firmware, drivers, and design teams to ensure robust silicon deliveries in a fast-paced data-center hardware setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in ASIC validation or hardware bring-up.
• Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up, debug, and measurement.
• Experience with test and measurement instrumentation in a lab environment.
• Ability to read schematics and platform documentation.
• Proficiency in Python for test development and automation.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation and PVT characterization test plans on emulation platforms and on silicon in the lab.
• Bring up boards and systems and set up test environments and instrumentation.
• Validate domain's feature sets and report results against expected behavior.
• Run and interpret domain measurements.
• Write and maintain Python test scripts, automation, and analysis tooling.
• Triage and debug failures hands-on and document findings clearly.
• Produce clean, reproducible characterization data and summaries for design, firmware, and manufacturing partners.
• Support lab infrastructure: bench, rack, and power setup.
