Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer – EO/IR or RF Signal Processing for the Tucson, AZ area. You will design and validate RF/EO-IR signal processing algorithms, develop models, and help integrate them into hardware.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering disciplines and hands-on testing in lab and live-fire contexts. You will mentor teammates and contribute to a program that advances missile-system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Signal processing experience in EO/IR, RF, Sonar, or Acoustic domains.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, or Java programming languages.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Interim Secret clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate signal processing algorithms and models.
• Modify simulations for development, prototyping, integration, and testing.
• Collaborate in lab environments to test sensor models and algorithms.
• Integrate algorithms into hardware and support development phases from start-up to live-fire testing.
• Mentor others and share knowledge across teams.
