Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer – EO/IR or RF Signal Processing in Tucson, AZ. You will work in the PG&C Center to design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess RF/EOIR signal processing algorithms and models used across missile systems programs.

The role requires advanced knowledge of signal processing, collaboration across engineering disciplines, and the ability to mentor others. Onsite in Tucson with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Signal processing experience in EO/IR, RF, Sonar, or Acoustic domains.
• Experience with C language or OOP with C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with algorithm design, implementation, testing, and optimization.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Interim Secret clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess signal processing algorithms and models.
• Test and validate sensor models and signal processing performance in labs.
• Integrate algorithms into hardware and support development from start-up to live-fire testing.
• Collaborate across disciplines and mentor others.
