Job summary

Ampere Computing LLC is seeking a Distinguished Signal Integrity Engineer to design and validate high-bandwidth interconnects, co-design silicon, package, and PCBs for AI compute workloads. The role emphasizes SI/PI, 3D modeling, and collaboration with chip, package, and PCB teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

The candidate should have deep expertise in SerDes (PCI-gen5/6/7, USB-C) and power delivery, with strong communication skills and a track record in advanced interconnects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 15 years of related experience; or master's with 12 years; or PhD with 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and validate high-performance interconnect solutions with SI/PI focus.
• Develop layout guidelines for package and PCB and SI/PI documentation.
• Support product bring-up and customer engagements.
• Advance SI analysis methodologies and contribute to roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional co-design across silicon, package, and PCB.
